Private Equity
Our private equity platform focuses on direct co-investment in North American and European commercial real estate alongside carefully selected operating partners. Capital preservation is central to our approach. We partner exclusively with experienced owner-operators who have a proven track record of generating strong risk-adjusted returns. Leadership
Saker Capital Asia is led by seasoned professionals with over 30 years of combined experience spanning U.S. and Asian commercial real estate, institutional investment, and corporate finance.
Mark Johnson brings more than three decades of commercial real estate experience to Saker Capital Asia, having completed in excess of $1.5 billion in private equity transactions in both principal and advisory capacities. His core expertise lies in the acquisition and strategic repositioning of U.S. multifamily assets to drive value for all stakeholders.
Before founding Saker, Mark served as Associate Managing Director at Pacific Commercial Group, where he led market analysis, property valuation, deal negotiation, and portfolio acquisition and disposition activities.
He launched his career in 1990 at Coldwell Banker (now CBRE) in Los Angeles, specializing in real estate valuation, consulting, and the resolution of non-performing loans - managing mandates totaling over $5 billion in aggregate transaction value.
